Steve Jobs gave the commencement speech at Stanford in 2005. I found it quite inspirational. The way he looks at things is similar to my own views on a few issues. Good to know.
This is Abby, my fellow refugee from Greenville. I was in MC with her for a year and then I was an intern during her second year. She, too, went to Puerto Rico for Master's Commission. She's moved back to Concord now, and is working at the local Chick-Fil-A. She also has the distinction of being one of my few remaining female MC friends who is not married or engaged.
Today I met with Sarah and Abby, both friends from Master's Commission. This is Sarah. The last time I saw her was four years ago when she graduated from Metro Charlotte Master's Commission. She's been in Puerto Rico helping out with the Master's Commission there. She is going to return there this fall to attend school while continuing to assist the Master's Commission. Sarah apparently likes to stay busy. Insanely so.
In contrast to The Golden Rule, I present for your consideration what I will refer to as "The Lead Rule." It's refraining from something to avoid causing pain for someone else only to have it done to you.
