There is no way or need to add an SOA (Start Of Authority) record to Cloudflare. If you are using Cloudflare nameservers for your domain, CloudFlare automatically creates an SOA record. (Answer based on community.cloudflare.com/t/adding-a-soa-...-to-cloudflare/62689 )

MXToolbox has a tool for testing to see your SOA record. Just go to this link that tests Cybersalt.com's SOA (there is no direct link to the test), change the domain you want to test, and run the test again:
mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx?action=soa%...alt.com&run=toolpage

BTW, wondering what an SOA record is?Imagine the internet as a massive library, and every website is a book in this library. Now, for these books to be found easily, the library needs a detailed index system. An SOA (Start of Authority) record is like a key page in this index system for a specific website (or domain). The SOA record contains crucial details about the domain, similar to how a book's reference page might include the publisher's information, publication date, and a guide on how the book should be cited. Specifically, an SOA record includes:
  1. Who is responsible for maintaining the domain, akin to a book's editor or author.
  2. How to reach them if there's an issue, similar to a contact email or phone number.
  3. A set of rules for how often the domain's information should be checked and updated, much like a schedule for when a new edition of a book might be released.
  4. Guidelines for how to handle errors or problems, ensuring that if the website (or "book") has issues, there's a clear protocol for fixing them.
In short, the SOA record is a foundational piece of the internet's directory, providing essential information needed to manage a domain and ensure it works smoothly, just as a reference page helps readers understand and properly use a book.
