Introduction to Turnstile: Google's reCAPTCHA is not as effective, prompting the use of CloudFlare Turnstile, which is a better alternative for preventing spam bots.
CloudFlare Account: Log into your CloudFlare account or create a free one if you don't have it.
Setting Up Turnstile: In CloudFlare, navigate to the Turnstile section and add your site or subdomain.
Widget Configuration: Choose the widget mode (managed, non-interactive, or invisible) and skip pre-clearance if not understood.
Obtain Keys: Generate and copy the site key and secret key provided by CloudFlare.
Download Plugin: Download the CloudFlare Turnstile plugin from Sharky's GitHub page, which supports Joomla 3, 4, and 5.
Install Plugin: In the Joomla backend, go to System > Install Extensions, upload the downloaded plugin, and install it.
Configure Plugin: Go to System > Plugins, enable the CloudFlare Turnstile plugin, and enter the site key and secret key.
Set Default CAPTCHA: In System > Global Configuration, set CloudFlare Turnstile as the default CAPTCHA and verify it by visiting the login page where Turnstile should now be active.
